SalarioBox

Cookie policy

The cookies SalarioBox uses, what they do, and how to reject the ones that are not essential.

This policy lists the storage used on portugalnetpay.com and calculasalario.pt. The controller is the publisher of SalarioBox (see the About page), contact hello@percentbox.com. It was last reviewed on 2026-09-29. The banner at the bottom of the page is the control. Cookie settings in the footer reopens it.

Essential storage

  • sb_consent. A first-party cookie. Values: accepted or rejected. Lifetime: about 180 days. Purpose: remember the choice and apply Google Consent Mode. This cookie is set when you press a button. It is not an advertising cookie.
  • salariobox-theme. localStorage, not a cookie. Values: light or dark, or absent (then the system preference is used). Purpose: keep the theme. It never leaves the device.

Optional storage, only after Accept

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, these stay off until you accept. Elsewhere they load unless you reject. Rejecting later reloads the page so a tag that already started does not keep running.

  • Google Analytics 4 (measurement id G-RKRPCEM3XD when that id is configured). Cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id>. Used to count visits and to see which tools are used. Injected only when non-essential storage is allowed. IP anonymisation is requested in the tag configuration. Google's default retention for the property applies.
  • Google AdSense, publisher ca-pub-5355338650267313. The library is in the HTML so the site can be verified. Requests stay paused until ads are allowed. After Accept, Google may set cookies such as IDE and others described in Google's advertising-cookie list, to show and measure ads and to limit how often you see one. Those cookies can be read on other sites that use Google advertising.

How to refuse or delete them

Press Reject non-essential. That writes sb_consent=rejected, updates Consent Mode to denied, and pauses ad requests. You can also delete cookies in the browser, which forgets the choice and shows the banner again. Browser controls that block third-party cookies stop most AdSense measurement even after an Accept. Google's Ads Settings and the industry opt-out pages linked from the privacy policy are additional controls. They do not replace the button on this site.

Essential storage is not used to identify you across sites. There is no login. More detail on legal bases and on the CNPD is in the privacy policy.

Frequently asked questions

Does Reject stop the AdSense script from being in the HTML?

No. The script tag stays so Google can see the publisher installation. Reject pauses ad requests and withholds consent. It does not uninstall the tag from the page source.

How long is the choice remembered?

About 180 days, in the sb_consent cookie. After that, or if you delete it, the banner returns.
