SalarioBox
Privacy policy
What SalarioBox does with personal data: consent, Google Analytics, AdSense, and your rights in the EEA.
This policy explains how SalarioBox handles information when you use portugalnetpay.com and calculasalario.pt. The controller is the publisher of SalarioBox (see the About page), an individual in Portugal, not a company. Contact: hello@percentbox.com. There is no registered office to publish because none was set up for this site. The policy was last reviewed on 2026-09-29.
What the site processes
- Calculator inputs. The numbers you type stay in your browser. They are not sent to a SalarioBox server, because the calculation runs on your device. If you accept analytics, a coarse event (which tool you opened, and that a calculation ran) can be sent to Google Analytics. The salary figure itself is not a field we intend to transmit.
- A consent cookie, sb_consent, set to accepted or rejected, for about 180 days. It remembers the choice so the banner does not ask on every page.
- Theme. A localStorage key, salariobox-theme, stores light or dark mode on the device. It is not sent to us.
- Server logs. The host (Vercel) processes IP addresses and request data to deliver the pages and to resist abuse. SalarioBox does not run a separate log store for marketing.
- Email. If you write to the contact address, the message is read in an ordinary inbox and kept long enough to answer or to fix a page. Do not send identity documents.
Analytics, ads, and Consent Mode
Google Analytics 4 is used only when a measurement id is configured (the id used on the live sites is G-RKRPCEM3XD) and only after non-essential storage is allowed. The tag is not in the first HTML response as a loaded library. A small first-party script decides whether to inject it.
Advertising is Google AdSense, publisher ca-pub-5355338650267313. The adsbygoogle.js library is present in the page head so Google can verify the site. Ad requests are paused until this browser is allowed to be served ads. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, that means you press Accept, or you have a stored Accept. Reject leaves requests paused and keeps analytics off. Outside that area, ads and analytics load unless you reject. Google's own ad crawlers are not treated as people and are not given a consent cookie.
Before any of those tags run, the page sets Google Consent Mode v2 defaults. ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage start as denied, and are updated to granted only when ads and analytics are allowed. functionality_storage and security_storage stay granted, because the theme and the consent cookie are how the site works. This is a first-party Accept / Reject banner, not a certified consent-management platform.
If you accept, Google may set advertising and analytics cookies and may read them to measure visits and to show and measure ads, including on other sites. Google acts as a separate controller for its own products. Its terms and its EU user-consent policy describe the transfers, which can include processing outside the EEA under Google's safeguards. SalarioBox does not sell a list of users. There is no list.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA or the UK, the GDPR (and the UK GDPR) gives you the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port the personal data the controller holds, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent at any time, with effect for the future, from Cookie settings in the footer or by clearing the sb_consent cookie. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that already happened.
You can also complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), the Portuguese supervisory authority, at www.cnpd.pt. You may use the authority in the EU country where you live. Nothing in this policy limits that.
To opt out of personalised ads without waiting for a reply, use the Reject button, then Google's own tools: Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) and the aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu industry pages. A browser that blocks third-party cookies will also stop much of the advertising measurement. Analytics opt-out for the Google tag is the same Reject button, plus Google's Analytics opt-out add-on if you want a browser-level control.
Legal bases and retention
- Consent, for analytics and advertising cookies and for the related Google tags (article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Legitimate interests, for the strictly necessary delivery of the pages and for a short-lived security log at the host, balanced against the fact that the pages are public and the content is not an account.
- The consent cookie is kept for about 180 days. Email is kept while a correction or a question is open and then deleted from the inbox in ordinary housekeeping. Local theme storage stays until you clear it.
The site is not directed at children. Do not send a child's data in an email. Calculator figures about a household are typed by you and are not stored by us.
Frequently asked questions
Do you have my salary on a server?
No. The calculation runs in the browser. Accepting analytics can send a tool-level event to Google. It is not a copy of your payslip.
What is the AdSense publisher id?
ca-pub-5355338650267313, also published in ads.txt. Rejecting non-essential cookies pauses ad requests.
Who do I email about my data?
hello@percentbox.com, with 'privacy' in the subject. You can also complain to the CNPD.
