How we make money

SalarioBox is free to use and has no paid plan. It is paid for in two ways, and both are advertising. Under article 8 of the Portuguese Advertising Code (Código da Publicidade), advertising must be clearly identifiable, so every paid element on this site is labelled where it appears.

Ads (Google AdSense)

Some pages show ads served by Google AdSense. We do not choose the individual ads and do not endorse what they offer. Ads are labelled, and in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland they only load after you accept non-essential cookies. Details are in the cookie policy and the privacy policy.

Affiliate links

Some pages may contain a recommendation box for a service we think fits the topic, such as a money-transfer service, a current account or invoicing software. These boxes are marked Ad · affiliate link. If you sign up through one, the provider may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and you pay the same price as anyone else.

What money never changes

• Calculator results. The calculators use the same formulas whether or not a page carries an ad or an affiliate box, and no partner can see or change them.
• Guide content. Guides are written from the law and official sources first. A box is added afterwards, only where it fits, and never replaces the explanation.
• We never promote credit or loans, insurance quotes, or investments, trading or crypto products.
